Six short months ago we were given a beautiful, scared baby girl. Today we have a happy, funny, sweet little girl! It is hard to believe we have had Sarah for 6 months already - it seems like she has always been part of our family.

A few pictures of the girls....

Brandon isn't so cooperative with pictures lately. I have so few good ones of him because he tends to make faces when I try to get one. The girls are a different story - the smiles abound when I take a picture.

The little chair that Sarah is sitting in was a gift. A gentleman in the church wanted to make something for Sarah so he made this beautiful rocking chair. The back looks like a princess throne and the material is a beautiful rust color. We don't know the man's name because he wanted to remain annonymous. His only request was that we give him a picture of Sarah in the chair. These are my favorites so I'm having them printed and I'll give them to the church secretary on Sunday to give to him along with a thank you. It is so beautiful!

The girls got silk capes and crowns from some friends for Christmas. They LOVE to play dress up in them.
Sarah has discovered that she can remove her diaper so we got the potty chair out. She loves sitting on it but other than a dribble she hasn't done anything in it. She does try to take her diaper off and brings us a new one or tells us when she is wet or messy. I'm hoping this summer we can get her out of diapers.

We've got some debates going about Sarah's hair. I'm so torn! I love Hannah's bangs on her but really wanted Sarah not to have them. However, she will not leave a clip or pony in her hair at daycare and it is getting long enough in the front that it obscures her vision. (or at least seems to) I don't know what to do about it. Brent suggested getting it trimmed and let it grow out when she is a little older and will keep the clips or pony in.

Sarah is speaking more and more - she seems to learn a new word or two almost daily - it is fun to hear! She loves going to school and is beginning to open up even more with her teachers. She even gave one a hug when we left today. She also loves to sing and is starting to "attempt" songs that she has heard for a few months now - we listen to "girl" songs in the car everyday. (Hannah does NOT like to listen to music when a man is singing aside from a few songs so most of the songs are women singing.)

Hopefully I will remember to add pictures periodically - it has been quite a while since I've put new ones up. My goal is to get some of Brand up there.
